Privacy Policy

Tarsia Daily is a free daily puzzle game for iOS and Android. This policy explains what information the app handles and why. We built Tarsia Daily to collect as little as possible: there are no accounts, and your puzzle progress stays on your device.

You do not create an account or sign in to play. We do not ask for your name, email address, or phone number, and we do not build a profile of you.

Your game data — puzzle progress, completion times, streaks, statistics, and settings — is stored locally on your device only. It is not sent to us and is not linked to your identity. You can clear it at any time from the app’s Settings (“Reset all data”) or by deleting the app.

The app downloads each day’s puzzles from our backend (hosted on Supabase). These requests are anonymous and are not tied to an account. Standard technical information such as your IP address and device type may be processed by our hosting provider to deliver content and protect the service.

Tarsia Daily shows ads through Google AdMob to keep the game free. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect information such as advertising identifiers, IP address, general location, and ad-interaction data. Google acts as an independent advertising partner; its use of this data is governed by Google’s Privacy & Terms.

Your consent controls this. On iOS, we show Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt before using your device’s advertising identifier — if you decline, you’ll see non-personalized ads. In the European Economic Area and the UK, we present a Google-certified consent form (UMP) and honor your choices. Non-personalized ads still use limited data (such as approximate location and the ad context) to function.

We (and our providers) use the limited information above to:

• deliver the daily puzzles and run the game;
• display advertising, personalized only where you have consented;
• measure ad performance and prevent fraud and abuse;
• keep the service reliable and secure.

• Reset local game data any time from the app’s Settings.
• Change tracking on iOS in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
• Reset your advertising ID on Android in Settings → Privacy → Ads.
• Update your consent choices (EEA/UK) from the in-app privacy options where available.

Tarsia Daily is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Because game data lives on your device, it is retained until you clear it or uninstall the app. Data processed by our providers (hosting, advertising) is retained according to their own policies.

Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR or the California CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, and to object to certain processing. Since we don’t hold accounts or personal profiles, most game data is under your direct control on your device; for advertising data handled by Google, use the consent and device controls described above. We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “Last updated” date.
